Osthe - The Mass , Which was considered to be the blockbuster of simbu is major let down. After playing roles like VTV,Vaanam dont know why STR even considered this role . From scene 1 , the movie stresses the point that its purely a commercial one with STR kicking ass of more than 30 goons. The beauty of it is that , most of the time he is not the ground . He is a combination of SUPERMAN + Matrix NEO + KRISSH + HULK .Either he is pedalling in the air or flying like a rocket. Whenever the Theme "OSTHE MAAMU" kicks off , Watch the skies bcos thats where Simbu will be.

The story is the same as in Dabaang , so no suprises there but still Dharani could have changed it a little more according to our style. Screenplay is awful.Even the first half gets boring after the first 15 min. Santhanam's one liners do bring some titters here and there but not for long , Simbu's one liners smashes it and puts a frown on ur face and later transforms it into a scowl and which in turn , turns gradually into disgust.

The only beauty in the movie is Richa Gangopadhay who looks a knockout in half saree. But like i said its a commercial movie so She comes in only for the songs. Dharani was gracious enough to give her 2 to 3 words here and there in the movie. Thank God ! Mayakkam enna came first or else Richa would have kissed her career goodbye in Tamil Industry.

The only thing which is good in this movie are the songs which has caused a sensation when it was released first. Although the choreography is disapointing at some places , STR rocks with his special moves . "Neduvalee" song is the best , Thanks to ROBERT. Hell ! even Santhanam does a step that pulls whistles
from the fans :-). The BGM is tremendously good , Thanks to Thaman.

And the Six pack craze has finally touched Simbu too. Yup he rips off his shirt at last or technically the shirt rips off by itself
when he gets angry , Coool ! huh !!! :-)).. Although his is not perfect as Surya's was , Still it was a nice try .


Overall: So if u want to see a cheery simbu, Cheesy Dialouges, Awful screenplay , hot Richa , no story (Ooops ! ! my bad :-) , i meant a sad story and some peppy songs ,Osthe is the movie for u .
